Btw has anyone managed to figure out what all those capital letters stand for, other than D(ay), N(ight), I(ndoors) and C(combat)?


The missions got L, M (the unused ones) and H (combat);

the combat tracks have P as the default, and D and S for additional versions (Robo and Descent);

then there's H and W for Loading,
Character S,
and Codestream L(oading?).


Not particularly important, but been kinda bugging me for 10+ years lol

L,M,H for missions is the tension level (Low, Medium, High)
H and W for Loading i think means Hovercraft or Home (for the real items section) and W for White (for the code section)
Character S might mean Character S(earch)

Ah damn, definitely should've thought of that one lol

Wonder if there's been any info from the devs (probably during the game's run, not aware of any major contacts or info drops since then other than Aether) what the original plans may have been for the mission gameplay there, with the 3 levels of tension and what the Medium tracks were for?
(Other than the re-use in the 01 constructs obviously)
