So I came across a post somewhere from someone that stated that he/she had two separate folders for MxO to run the Local Server and Test Server. This seems to be overkill, but it doesn't have to be that way!

I thought I'd offer a suggestion to help keep things super simple and super quick if you feel like bouncing back and forth between the two like I do.

Inside the attached .ZIP file, you'll find the following files:

pubkey.dat_local
useropts.cfg_local
useropts.cfg_testserver
z_testserver.bat
z_local.bat

It should be noted that you should already have Matrix2.exe and MatrixTest.exe in your MxO folder, or else the fiery depths of whatever Hell is the worst will swallow you up.

What does it do?

Well, by running z_testserver.bat, it will delete your pubkey.dat (just like the MatrixTestRun.bat did), and also delete the useropts.cfg. MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP YOUR useropts.cfg IF YOU HAVE ANY CUSTOM USEROPTS. SRSLY. Then, it will copy the useropts.cfg_testserver with the testserver's paths to "useropts.cfg", which is what the client looks for... Run z_testserver.bat and boom, you're on the test server.

If you want to run the local server to play with the clothing tool or whatever, then simply run z_local.bat. It will delete any pubkey.dat listed, then copy the pubkey.dat_local so that it's named "pubkey.dat". It'll do the same for useropts.cfg_local so that it turns into "useropts.cfg". Run z_local.bat and boom, you're on your local server (as long as you've followed all of the directions to get the Compiled Server v2 running). Simply create shortcuts for these files wherever it is that you want them to go, and use these instead of the ones Rajko provided with his downloads. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Mileage may vary, and by using this product, you may void your warranty.
lol you can delete pubkey.dat for whatever server, either local or test

Oh yeah? I thought it was necessary. Well shit, if I feel ambitious, I'll fix that.
Yeah... still doesn't work. Thanks anyway.
