Audio Files - Metalogic - 21-01-2010 So while I was walking the dogs today, I started to think about the audio files that MxO had. I know in some missions you can get recording of Niobe, or Cryptos. I also know that Cryptos has those boxes around MegaCity that opens and close at certain time, and when they do open, his simulacra comes out gives a speech and closes back up. So my question is, were they server sided? If so, did anyone save a MP3 or .wav file? RE: Audio Files - HD_Morpheus - 21-01-2010 that thing is not gonna be sent, probably as would be bandwith consuming. probably in the game files, but inside another file.. like all the game things xD. I think all the audio stuff was downloaded clientside. Check DN1 for some threads on extracting it all. I did it at one point, and quite frankly found most of it pretty tedious. Except Persephone's soliloquies, of course! Can't get too mucch of them! Rajkohaxor made them all available back in August here as http://mxoemu.info/sounds.7z He might be persuaded to repost them. I think the MMO itself is going to be bandwith consuming. RE: Audio Files - rajkosto - 21-01-2010 just download extractor and extract your packmaps, then listen to all the sounds you want http://mxoemu.info/extractor.zip RE: Audio Files - Metalogic - 21-01-2010 Yea, I figured out that it was client side, which is good. Mainly because I had a collection of Cryptos and Niobe recording. RE: Audio Files - Valaro - 21-01-2010 Another way to get them in MP3 format is to go to http://www.mxoarchive.net/music.html you'll find most of the game's combat and mission music there. RE: Audio Files - Metalogic - 21-01-2010 Well I just wanted to hear Cryptos speeches when he pops out of those boxes. RE: Audio Files - Twaggy - 21-01-2010 I has all that music on my MP3 player lol RE: Audio Files - Vesuveus - 22-01-2010 I want to hear Persephone's dialogue. |
