About NC Soft, they close MMOs too. Look at Tabula Rasa and Auto Assault.
November 2007 to February 2009 for Tabula Rasa, that was pretty quick.
I think you'd be surprised how many games have things like this and are technically "unfinished." There hits a point in video game development where there are all these loose ends that need to be tied up, and the due date gets closer and closer. Sometimes, they have to decide to scrap an idea and hope that maybe someday they can add it in with a patch, but oftentimes they can't/don't/get lazy.

I can honestly say, Turbine may be the best MMO Company out there. Regular bug fixes constant updates. players ask they get generally. Agree?
