the thing is soe bought mxo from warner bros to get popularaty and notice, but once they lifted off they dont need mxo anymore and shut it down...not becuz lack of money

MXO was doomed from the start, I only caught one ad in a gamepro(sp?) magazine advertising the game and the pre-order bonus of 3 days jacked in before the rest.
I'm willing to bet that Monolith was already in talks with SOE before the game went live.
And CR2.0 efficiently killed off 50% or more of the games population eliminating any profit margin they could have seen from the game.
