Audio Recording off PC - Vesuveus - 23-08-2013 I'm looking to record the audio off a webinar that I can't attend. Anyone ever record audio off a PC before? I ask for help because it's time sensitive, and I won't have much time to test a program before the big day. Any help from my tech-savvy community is appreciated! RE: Audio Recording off PC - rajkosto - 23-08-2013 Do you have one of these ? http://i.imgur.com/qjLkapu.png (right click and show disabled devices, then enable it, then select it as audio source) RE: Audio Recording off PC - Vesuveus - 23-08-2013 (23-08-2013, 06:58 PM)rajkosto Wrote: Do you have one of these ? http://i.imgur.com/qjLkapu.png No Stereo mix. I'll google to find that. Would that be good for 30 min recordings? Last I used that (on XP, I have Vista on this) it was good for 1 min incriments, I think. EDIT I guess I have to find drivers to enable Stereo Mix. Another reason I hate vista. Maybe 3rd party program? Any suggestions? RE: Audio Recording off PC - Aquilae - 23-08-2013 Check your sound card. I have Creative X Fi and use "What U Hear" along with Sound Recorder to record audio. RE: Audio Recording off PC - rajkosto - 23-08-2013 well vista is a problem they hella improved sound subsystem for 7 and you can record however long you want, just get audacity or whatever worst case, just get fraps and record the video as well |
