To be fair, F2P isn't a death knell these days. LotRO is doing great, from what I've seen.
Microtransactions are where it's at.
Still, fuck SOE and all that jazz.

game is very limited in f2p mode
they set it up as a cash cow
their revenues increased 700% since they went f2p
