MXO Launcher freeze in patch

So I installed the game and the Mxo Emu Test Server.msi. I run the launcher and I direct it to the game, then it begins to patch. It freezes at 28% and says (Error opening C:/Program Files (x86)/Monolith Productions/The Matrix Online/resource/worlds/final_world.... its cut off here not sure what it is actually having an issue with. Does this have to do with the launcher not having write ability? Should I reinstall the game and launcher to my user folder?
Yes I ran launcher as Admin

Where did you get your install ?
Run launcher as admin
Make sure you dont have the metr files opened in a hex editor or something silly like that
(or lingering running instances of matrix/launcher/realitytest)

I used original matrix disks for the install. I grabbed the launcher from your page http://mxoemu.info/
Nothing lingering running and yes i ran the launcher as admin.
Not sure wots happening. I tried reinstall same result. Stops at same spot at patch.

Thats wrong, you cannot use the original disks.

From the instructions on the front page http://mxoemu.info/:

"The MxoEmu Test Server is online

You will need the latest version of the SOE Matrix Online client already installed on your system.
If you do not already have it, download it from this link: MatrixOnline.7z and extract into a directory of your choice using 7-Zip or WinRAR

It is recommended to use a download manager to download this file, as it is quite large (1.6GB). The one i recommend is Free Download Manager (freedownloadmanager.org)."

Ill say this now, since I see it coming anyway: you cant use the in game character creation, you have to create a charater from the same page (http://mxoemu.info/) in the upper left side of the page login.

Have dloaded the 7z file, will clean install later today and try that.
Yes i created the charater in the right spot. This was not the issue.
Will post results.
