Trouble starting up

Hi everyone, new guy here. I followed the instructions on the front page of the site, and I can get to the point where I select the character I created from the main site, but when i click on him the window just shuts down, wondering if anyone can help me out?

hey i get to the bit where you write your characters first and last name then i click accept and it says session certificate approved then does nothing
