Ok, so I tried your Guide, and I'm an idiot

My Realty.conf:

But I still get the Margins server error message, and cannot log in. I've tried changing port numbers, use the search function on this forum and I tried googling, but sometimes I can find the same question, but I can't find the answer to it.

I also disabled my firewalls, to see if that made a difference, but nothing changed, tried 'run as administrator' on both Realty.exe, realitymood.exe and matrix2.bat .

Can you help me out?

Also set Matrix2.exe to run as administrator, even though you won't be double clicking it, the batch file still runs it.

Ok, just tried that, but makes no difference, still problems with the Marginserver

I couldn't find anything in past posts with anyone having this problem (though I could of missed it possibly), only thing I can advise is try a reinstall of everything if you haven't done so yet and let us know how it goes.

Yes, I tried, I just installed the game and server on my laptop, but still the same result..

Good point, there.
I started changing the dns entries, when I encountered errors. but before I change anything, I made a backup of the originals.
I still don't get the game running, but I want this MxOE client running, so I can PM you, with my appearance. Of course, I already know what my username and password are gonna be, but I need to change my appearance first

If I can't get this to run, can anyone build a character (with screenshot) for me?
