Things in real life that reminds you of The Matrix

So, I live close to Charlotte, and the downtown part of it is really nice, it has tall office buildings, people in business suits, etc. It reminds me of Downtown in MxO and MegaCity in The Matrix. There's also an interstate that circles around the city I-485, and it reminds me of that highway in Reloaded, where they had that big chase scene with The Twins, and Agents etc.

So what real life things remind you of The Matrix or MxO?

Go google chicago buildings. Most of the megacity is modeled after the unigque buildings found there. Some examples:

I've heard that The Wachowski Brothers got their inspiration for MegaCity from Chicago.

Yes, in fact in the movie script, the city was actually called Chicago.

Well if you remember the movies, it never, not even once, states the name of the city.

Monolith were the ones to name it MegaCity for MxO.

Also, Megacity actually is used to describe cities of a certain size/population. I actually believe Wikipedia has info on it:
