This is a minor irritation but every time I load the launcher it still asks me to find directory, why? I thought it was only suppose to ask me once.

because it cant write to the folder it's in

Hint: Run as administrator.

Or move it to a folder your user account owns (but it also needs to write to the matrix online dir, so make that a folder your user account owns too)
