RE: 2 Questions.
so Morph... ur saying that if i remembered the name of my character (or close enough) and possibly the server... i could get mine back? not really a big deal for me... cause i never really played and the name of my lvl 50 is totally gone from my memory.
but still, thats interesting. how does it work... do you have to go back through certain files containing info on people logged in?

not close, but exactly. as i do exact matching, but ignore case. And yes. But only for recursion and syntax i think.
Works because i know how to spawn people based on some data. But cannot asure how many of you are there. cause it's looking at 2,2gb per character, so takes some time.

ok. well i know that requests must have piled up... but if you get any free time...
The name of my favorite low-lvl was either ironhacker1994, or ironhacker94 (<-most likely this one). I dont remember which server but i know it was either recursion or syntax.

Well I'm SOL then since the drive that I ran MxO while it was live on died big time although maybe I can recover the MxO folder.
Why? All he needs is your name.
Cause, from what I understand, all the info for your character is stored on your computer or SOE's servers, and since I lost that getting him back to how he was clothing wise isn't possible.

And you'r right. But for some reason... looks like the system sends your RSI to others when they see you. which is normal, as you only know how people are dressed when you look at em.
So we got that info, not what was on SOE trashed-on-a-corner servers
Take it like...
- i met a guy named Rycus
- yeah how was he?
- well he was a level 50 zen master, weared a cowboy hat...
etc.
