Some Resources
Bayamos and Mathalos have been mentioned a couple of times. The DN1 threads with their work are still available in two locations:

1. Here, in the great mxoforums site: http://www.mxoforums.com/showthread.php?...407&page=4

2. In the DN1 forums themselves:
http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/posts...6300559760

Bayamos and Mathalos worked a different angle from what's going on here, I think, but there is still great insight in their work, and who knows, there could be continuing relevance as well.

RE: Some Resources
cool.

serious answer: eh, most of that isn't directly relevant to what goes on here in terms of aiding the development process. neat, sure, and most of the useropt / rezmap stuff can still be done today to make you look prettyful, but not helpful in figuring out how the underlying systems work to improve the emulator. except for the sidenote on modifying python behavior, which allowed a printout of ability IDs / game object attributes (is_invitem, etc). but the forum wipe has baleeted all those posts.

RE: Some Resources
MajTom, use raj's extractor to break up the packmaps according to the rezlist, and then follow this procedure: http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/posts...6300572314

RE: Some Resources
That's pretty vague, explain what you mean by recompressing things.
