Error after launching the emulator

First off, as someone who never got to play the MMO during its run, I's just like to thank Rajkosto and everyone else who is working on this.
I created a character on the site, and I am running the client and emulator in Windows XP in virtualbox from Ubuntu 12.04. The emulator launches and I am able to log in, but when I select the character I made and hit 'continue' I get this error, screencapped below.

What should I do? Thanks in advance!

virtualbox has no direct3d support.
it won't work even in VM software that does, like vmware workstation (you will only see the sky)
it won't work in WINE either, as wine compatibility sucks with non-popular apps due to it's authors mindset (segfaults before even showing anything)

Oops. Well, I guess this is definitely an argument in favor of dual booting. Thanks!
