Can't launch the game

This is what I get when I try to launch the game with a character I just created. I followed the guide on the official emulator website step by step but it doesn't work.
(I used my old install CDs of MxO, I didn't download it from the website)

The CD's don't work. Download and install the matrixonline 7z client.

Follow the directions here http://mxoemu.info/ carefully and it will work.

I followed the directions and followed Idiots guide. There is an authentication error. Also, Can't Log-In to forums. I enter in the data I got from the email but it says its incorrect( I hit the forums button to get in)

Ok, I think I know what you mean.

SO - for me, the forum password is not the EMU server password.

Register for the EMU password here http://mxoemu.info/.
Thats the one you use to log into the top left of the page http://mxoemu.info/. You would then click on your name once logged in and create a character.

Thats also the password you use when you log into the EMU

The forums have a separate password (at least for me).

Yes, and to be technical, the forums can have an entirely different username than the Emu.

or you could, you know, do what the readme says and run the launcher as admin on UAC enabled computers...so that you dont get infinite folder prompt

I'm having a problem as well. I launch the game and, since I haven't actually been in yet, it tries to detect settings for me and just locks up in that phase.
