It's In Us
We all know why we're here. Even now, you're sitting at your cubicle at work, that itch....that itch at the back of your mind that you can't get rid of. Every day you carry out our duties, going through the actions without giving it a thought. Yet, that itch doesn't go away.
It's not going away, because we all know, who we are. We are a selected few who choose to live in this world. We live in a world where the impossible happens. We live in a world where a man can leap from one building, and land at another, five blocks away. We live in a world where we can break a man's arm in half and kick him up against the wall in a matter of seconds. Where we can dodge bullets and deliver our own just as quickly.
We have unlimited knowledge that can be downloaded to our brain in an instance, where we can walk into a telephone booth at one end of the city, and arrive out of the other end, at the other side of the city.
We live in a fast pace world, where we make split second decision, and fly by the seat of our pants. Where we fight super men, and women and still come back for more. Where we make deals with shady characters, as a mean to an end.
We do this, because we choose to, and I don't know about you, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
