RE: Mxo gets an update
I'm new here. Am I to understand you guys are getting MxO running on some kind of emulator? Is there even LAN multiplayer? How is this accomplished!? If anyone wants, feel free to email me a more direct answer. Gamez1985@yahoo.com Thanks!

RE: Mxo gets an update
I was wondering... How do we get to this "walk about"?
I've been looking around the forums a lot, trying to see if there are ways I can help. And I was curious to the progress and would very much like to see the Matrix again lol. As I'm sure everyone else here does...
Is the emulator only open to certain accounts? If so, is it possible to get one? Or are they private only for coders?

Great question, SP. Basically, the current release lets you create an autonomous client on your machine, using a third-party app as the "servver". Really, the whole thing runs on your machine. It's "walk about" in the sense that you can walk about MegaCity and the constructs, customize a character (but not save it yet), and generate NPCs. It's great, but is a few steps on a long journey.
Anyone can check it out; just poeruse around these forums for all the info on getting and starting the client. Welcome!
