I think that Rare ended at Chapter 14 like he did because they already knew that they were shutting it down for YEARS. Walrus admitted that little tasty bit the last night. I'd have to scour through my logs to find exactly what he said, but you get the drift. They just pushed the end forward what with the lack of people/money/care/time/blah blah blah.

Whoah. Please elaborate.
yeah, i'd be interested in that quote. if you have some spare time, please dig that out.
EDIT: heres a thought. chadwick was the original writer chosen by the wachowskis. maybe mxo was a planned episode. would't it be nice if the good brothers took a break from their ninja movies and fed us some more matrix from their own minds?!

RE: Rarebit
yeah, I think they explained how they did that. I recall someone mentioning that someone offered a Trust member max info for a terminator bit on recursion while they had stacks and stacks of 20 terminator bits and would level up quickly by going in the elevator in the datamine building, use a terminator bit and loot all the lvl 50-54 SSR npcs.
As for Walrus, I got him friended on facebook. Not sure that he'll talk about MxO. Would you if you were in his position?

It required some real talent to take a franchise like the Matrix, and drive it right off a bridge like they did. For Walrus I'm sure this was a very big learning experience, though not verything that went wrong could be laid at his feet. For our purposes here there's not much that Walrus could share that could make a difference.
